West Indies’ great cricketer Sir Garfield Sobers created history on August 31, 1968 by hitting 6 sixes in an over. He did this feat against bowler Malcolm Nash in a match against Glamorgan in the English County Championship. The last six of the over went out of the ground and reached the bus stop. It was taking time to bring the new ball, due to which Sir Garry Sobers, who was unbeaten on 76 runs, decided to declare the innings. Nottinghamshire won that match by 166 runs.
