CSK vs RR Turning Point of Match: Turning Point of Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals match

There were 3 big turning points in this match where the match changed significantly. Let’s talk about 3 turning points-

1. Rajasthan Royals batting

Captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bat first on Chennai’s home ground. He had thought of giving a target of 170-190 runs to CSK on the Chepauk pitch. This could have been a good score but the batsmen did not show that much stamina.

Yashasvi Jaiswal 24 runs, Jos Buttler 21 runs, Sanju Samson himself was out after scoring 15 runs. Riyan Parag played an unbeaten inning of 47 runs in 35 balls but he did not get support from the other end. The top order of Rajasthan Royals batted very poorly. Where Yashasvi batted with a strike rate of 114.29.

Whereas, Butler scored 84 runs while Samson scored at a poor strike rate of 78.95. If you want to give the target of 170 runs to the opposition team then you will never be able to win the match with such poor batting.

2. There was shine in the bowling of Chennai Super Kings

CSK’s bowling looked very weak due to the absence of Mustafizur Rahman and Mathisha Pathirana. But in this match the bowlers bowled commendably. Tushar Deshpande took 2 wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs, while Simarjeet Singh took 3 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs.

The best thing was that all the bowlers bowled very economical overs. He did not take any wicket but made the batsmen struggle to score runs.

3. Rituraj’s captaincy innings and the team’s batsmen not wasting time at the crease.

While CSK was chasing the target, wickets were falling at regular intervals. But the best thing about the batsmen was that they were getting out after scoring runs. However, this alone is not enough as the entire team would have faltered.

Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was managing the innings and had given license to the rest of the batsmen to play fearlessly. Gaikwad played an inning of 42 runs in 41 balls and remained at the crease till the end of the match. Due to his sensible innings and important contribution of other batsmen, CSK was able to win the match.

If even one thing did not go in their favor then the match could have slipped.

‘There is no place in your team’ Pakistani fans trolling Babar Azam during the second T20 match against Australia

Azam has scored 666 runs in 21 T20I matches played in the year 2024. Babar Azam (Image Credit- Twitter X) In the second T20 match against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground, some Pakistani fans were seen trolling experienced batsman Babar Azam fiercely. The video trolling Azam is going viral very fast on social media. It is noteworthy that in the 21 T20 International matches played in the year 2024, the 30-year-old player has scored a total of 666 runs at a strike rate of 132.66. Under the captaincy of Babar, Pakistan had to be eliminated from the league stage in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. So now cricket fans have been seen venting their anger on Babar. In the second T20 match against Australia, some fans sitting in the stands were seen trolling Babar fiercely and saying, ‘You don’t get a place in the T20 team.’ Watch this video viral on social media Pakistan fans disrespecting Babar Azam in Sydney. “Teri jagah nahin banti mein T20 team” 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 This is not acceptable at all. He’s our former captain and he’s our pride. Sharam everyone. Stay strong, @babarazam258 — Farid Khan (@_FaridKhan) November 17, 2024 Also, let us tell you that former captain Babar Azam was also dropped from Pakistan’s Test team earlier this year. After a poor performance in the first Test match against England, the team management decided to drop Babar. In place of Babar, Kamran Ghulam was included in the team, who confirmed his place in the Test team by scoring a century in his debut match. This is not a good sign for Babar Azam in red ball cricket. On the other hand, apart from Test, Babar’s bat is not working in T20 also. Babar has been able to score only 6 runs in the two T20 matches played against Australia. So in the ODI series that ended before the T20 series, Babar’s performance was 37, 15* and 28* runs. Apart from this, Babar has also not been included in the Pakistani team for the upcoming white series against Zimbabwe. Now that the Champions Trophy 2025 is very close, and Babar not being able to perform for the Pakistani team in the white ball format, it may become a headache for the PCB in the future.
