The Delhi Premier League 2024 players draft was held on 2 August in New Delhi. Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Anuj Rawat and Harshit Rana were the big bidders in this spectacular event. Purani Dilli 6 franchise added Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma to their team while North Delhi Strikers drafted Harshit Rana.

Yash Dhull will be seen playing for Central Delhi Kings in the upcoming tournament. Let us tell you, a total of 270 players from Delhi were included in this draft. Some of these players were also those who have participated in the Indian Premier League and domestic cricket for the national team. Purani Dilli 6 has included aggressive wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant and experienced fast bowler Ishant Sharma in its team. Apart from these two, excellent all-rounder Lalit Yadav will also be seen playing for Purani Dilli 6, while batsman all-rounder Shivam Sharma will also be seen playing for the same franchise.

Apart from this, Purani Dilli 6 has also drafted Arpit Rana and young fast bowler Prince Yadav. West Delhi Lions first included Hrithik Shaukin in their team and then also selected Navdeep Saini. North Delhi Strikers have included Harshit Rana in the team. Harshit Rana performed very well in the Indian Premier League 2024 and took 19 wickets in 13 matches. Not only this, due to his performance, the young fast bowler is currently with the Indian team on the Sri Lanka tour.

Central Delhi Kings added Yash Dhull to their squad

North Delhi Strikers have also drafted leg-spinner Suyash Sharma, who bowled very well for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2024. Central Delhi Kings have included Yash Dhull in their team. Apart from Yash, the team also has the excellent spinner Prince Chaudhary.

East Delhi Riders have drafted explosive wicketkeeper-batsman Anuj Rawat, who performed very well for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2024. South Delhi Superstars have drafted Ayush Badoni, who has been seen performing brilliantly for Lucknow Super Giants in the recent season of IPL. Batting all-rounder Sumit Mathur and young player Priyanshu Arya will also be seen playing for South Delhi Superstars in the upcoming season of Delhi Premier League.
