The second unofficial Test between Australia A and India A has started at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. The second day of play has ended and India A has scored 73 runs losing 5 wickets in its second innings.

Let us tell you that in this match, India A, batting first, scored 161 runs after losing all the wickets in its first innings, in response to which Australia A was all out for 223 runs in its first innings. From the host side, the excellent opener Marcus Harris played a valuable inning of 74 runs with the help of five fours in the first innings. Marcus Harris batted brilliantly and put pressure on the India A bowlers.

However, during the match, Marcus Harris got a lot of luck and he narrowly escaped getting out on the ball of Tanush Kotian. Actually, Marcus Harris was out on the ball of Tanush Kotian but the field umpire gave him not out. The Australian batsmen could not understand the Indian player’s excellent ball at all and the ball hit his bat and went to the fielder standing at first slip, who completed the catch very well.

India A batsmen failed to bat well in the second innings also. KL Rahul returned to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs while Abhimanyu Easwaran scored 17 runs. Sai Sudarshan was out on a personal score of three runs while captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played an inning of 11 runs. Devdutt Padikkal also returned to the pavilion after scoring one run.

Till the end of the second day’s play, Nitish Reddy is batting on 9* runs while Dhruv Jurel has scored 19* runs. The third day of the game will be very important for both the teams.
