Ranji Trophy 2023-24 has started and Devdutt Padikkal has achieved the feat of scoring a century while batting brilliantly against Punjab. He has played a strong innings while playing for Karnataka. Thanks to his innings, Karnataka has gained a huge lead.

Earlier, Padikkal had shown an amazing performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy last year. He had scored 465 runs in five innings of the first five matches, which also included two centuries and three half-centuries.

Manish Pandey also scored a century
Talking about the match, Punjab could score only 152 runs after losing all the wickets in the first innings. Nehal Vadhera scored the maximum 44 runs for the team. Whereas for Karnataka, Vasuki Kaushik bowled lethally and took 7 wickets for 41 runs. While Vijaykumar Vaishak and Rohit Kumar got 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
In response, till the time of writing the news, Karnataka has scored 391 runs after losing 5 wickets and its total lead has reached 239 runs. Apart from Padikkal, Manish Pandey also played a century and scored 118 runs with the help of 13 fours and 3 sixes.
