Dinesh Karthik will be seen playing for Southern Superstars in the upcoming season of Legends League Cricket.
Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket after IPL 2024. After this, Royal Challengers Bangalore appointed him as mentor-cum-batting coach. However, Karthik is going to be seen playing on the field again. He has been signed by Paarl Royals for the third season of SA20.
Meanwhile, a big news is coming out about Dinesh Karthik. The former wicketkeeper-batsman will now be seen playing for Southern Superstars in the upcoming season of Legends League Cricket.

Dinesh Karthik expressed his happiness about joining the Legends League Cricket and said that he was eagerly waiting to play in the LLC after retirement. Karthik said,
Playing Legends League cricket is definitely something I am looking forward to after my retirement. I am mentally and physically up for the task and looking forward to playing the brand of cricket I want to play. Thank you to the fans for their continued support and I hope to entertain you on the field once again.

Dinesh Karthik has represented India in 180 matches, scoring 3463 runs with the help of one Test century and 17 half-centuries. Karthik also has 172 dismissals to his name, most of which were behind the stumps. He finished his IPL career with 4,842 runs in 257 matches (jointly second with Rohit Sharma).
Karthik represented 6 franchises in a 17-year IPL career. He made his IPL debut with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in 2008. He joined Punjab Kings in 2011 and then played for Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Legends League Cricket 2024 Auction will take place on December 29, 2024 in New Delhi, where franchises will compete to include the biggest stars of Indian and International cricket in their team.
