The second semi-final match of the ongoing Ranji Trophy was played between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu. In the match, Tamil Nadu, which won the toss and batted first, had to face defeat.

Regarding Tamil Nadu’s defeat in the match, team coach Sulakshan Kulkarni had said that Tamil Nadu had to face defeat in the match because of the decision making of captain R Sai Kishore.

On the other hand, Sulakshan Kulkarni also received a lot of criticism in the cricket world for the coach blaming the captain for the team’s defeat. Players like Dinesh Karthik and Hemang Badani were seen supporting Sai Kishore. All of them say that it is not logical to hold any one player responsible for the defeat.

On the other hand, now former Indian cricketer and former BCCI selector Krishnamachari Srikkanth has given a big statement on this issue. Srikanth says that such coaches should not be recruited.

Srikanth gave a big statement

Let us tell you that while defending R Sai Kishore, Chris Srikanth said through his YouTube channel – This is not right at all. Dear Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), please do not recruit such coaches from outside states.

After the defeat in the semi-final match of Ranji Trophy against Mumbai, the coach of Tamil Nadu was quoted by Times of India as saying – I told him (Sai Kishore) that if we win the toss, we will bowl first.

This was my last conversation with the captain before the toss and it happened about five to seven minutes before he went on the field for the toss. He won the toss and suddenly decided to bat first and everyone in the dressing room was shocked. The opposing team was also surprised.
