Pakistan’s best fast bowler Amer Jamal has been released from the squad ahead of the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Let us tell you, Amer Jamal was earlier included in the Pakistan team but he has not been able to fully recover his fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

Amer Jamal suffered a back injury while playing county cricket this year. He was not fully fit but the experienced player was included in the Pakistan team. However, now Amer Jamal has been released ahead of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.

The Pakistan Cricket Board said in its official statement, ‘Aamer Jamal has been dropped from the Pakistan squad before the Test series against Bangladesh. He was included in the team on the condition that he would work on his fitness and if he is not fully fit, he can be dropped. He has been advised to work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. He suffered this injury while playing county cricket this year.’

The two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is starting from August 21

Let us tell you, the two-match Test series between these two teams is starting from 21 August. Amer Jamal made his Test debut against Australia. He took 18 wickets in three Tests at an average of 20.44. He took a 6-wicket haul in the first innings of his debut Test played in Perth. Not only this, he took 5 wickets in the Melbourne Test.

Both the Test matches to be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be hosted in Rawalpindi. Both the teams would definitely want to win this Test series. While on one hand Shan Masood will be seen captaining the Pakistan Test team, on the other hand Nazmul Hasan Shanto will captain the Bangladesh team.
