The fourth match of Duleep Trophy 2024 was played between India B and India C at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur. Let us tell you that no result was seen in this match which lasted for four days. So in the end, after the consent of both the captains, the match was ended in a draw.

However, in the first innings of the match, wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan played a brilliant century of 111 runs for India C, which was of no use to the team after the match was drawn. Also, in response to Kishan’s century, Abhimanyu Easwaran, playing the captaincy innings for India B, also gave a great reply by scoring 157 runs.

On the other hand, if we tell you about the match in detail, then India B won the toss and decided to bowl and while batting first, India C scored 525 runs after 124.1 overs in the first innings.

Apart from Kishan’s century, team opener and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 58, Sai Sudarshan scored 43, Rajat Patidar scored 40, Baba Indrajit scored 78, Manav Suthar scored 82 and Anshul Kamboj scored 38 runs. While for India B, Mukesh Kumar and Rahul Chahar took 4-4 wickets and Navdeep Saini and Nitish Reddy took 1-1 wickets.

After this, India B lost all its wickets in the first innings at a total score of 332 runs in 108 overs. Apart from openers Abhimanyu Easwaran (157) and N Jagadeesan (70), no other player could play a big innings for the team. In bowling, Anshul Kamboj took the maximum 8 wickets for India C, while Vijaykumar Vaishak and Mayank Markande got 1-1 wickets.

India C had scored 128 runs for the loss of 4 wickets after 37 overs in the second innings before the match was drawn. Baba Indrajit 5* and Abhishek Porel 4* were present at the crease at this time. Sai Sudarshan 11, Gaikwad 62 and Patidar 42 were out.
