Duleep Trophy 2024 Day 1 Highlights: The current season’s Duleep Trophy tournament started today on 5th September. The first match was played between India A and India B at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While the second match is being played between India C and India D at Rural Development Trust Stadium, Anantapur.

India A vs India B match day 1 highlights

In the match, India A won the toss and decided to bowl, which proved right for them for some time. But by the end of the day’s play, Mushir Khan’s (105*) century pushed the game slightly towards India B.

At the end of the day’s play, India B has scored a total of 202 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after 79 overs. Navdeep Saini is currently present at the crease with Mushir, scoring 29 runs. However, the failure of Yashasvi Jaiswal (30), Rishabh Pant (7) and Sarfaraz Khan (9) in batting before the Test series against Bangladesh is not a good sign. India C vs India D match day 1 highlights

On the other hand, if we talk about the second match of Duleep Trophy, then a very ordinary performance was seen from India D against India C. The entire team of India D was all out for just 164 runs in 48.3 overs. Big players like Shreyas Iyer (9), Devdutt Padikkal (0), Ricky Bhui (4) and Srikar Bharat (13) could not score runs.

But in the end, all-rounder Akshar Patel played a fighting innings of 86 runs, due to which the team was able to reach a respectable score. Akshar being in form before the Bangladesh series is a good sign for Team India.

By the end of the day’s play, India C has lost 4 wickets for 91 runs after 33 overs in the first innings. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad (5), Sai Sudarshan (7), Aryan Juyal (12) and Rajat Patidar (13) have been dismissed. At the crease, Baba Indrajit is currently at 15* and Abhishek Porel is at 32*.
