India B’s bowling has proved to be a failure against India A.
Duleep Trophy 2024 India A vs India B, 1st Match: Indian cricket team’s young batsman Sarfaraz Khan was trapped and dismissed by Avesh Khan on a superb delivery. It is worth mentioning that the first match of the ongoing Duleep Trophy has started today on 5th September at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
On the first ball of the 33rd over of India B’s innings, Avesh Khan trapped Sarfaraz in his trap and got him out for just 9 runs. Avesh bowled the first ball of the over from wide of the non-striker crease and used the angle. Seeing the ball, Sarfaraz went to play it towards the leg side, but the ball dodged him and hit the pad directly.
After this, on Avesh’s LBW appeal, the umpire declared Sarfaraz out without wasting any time. But Sarfaraz took a review to challenge the umpire’s decision, but the review clearly showed that the ball was hitting the stumps and the batsman had to return disappointed.
