Duleep Trophy, IND-A vs IND-B: Day 3 Highlights: The first match of Duleep Trophy 2024 is being played between India-A and India-B from 5 September at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. By the end of the second day of the game, India-B had scored 134 runs in the first innings and the team was trailing by 187 runs.

On the third day of the match, India-A was all out for 231 runs. By the end of the day, India-B has scored 150 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the second innings and the team is leading by 240 runs. Washington Sundar (6*) is unbeaten at the crease.

IND-A vs IND-B: 79-run partnership between KL Rahul and Riyan Parag

By the end of the second day of the game, Riyan Parag and KL Rahul had put on 68 runs for the third wicket. KL Rahul (23*) and Riyan Parag (27*) were unbeaten at the crease. Both batsmen had the intention to make the partnership bigger on the third day, but they were not successful.

In the 39th over, Yash Dayal broke the partnership by dismissing Riyan Parag (30). Parag and KL Rahul shared a 79-run partnership for the third wicket. KL Rahul (37) then lost his wicket to Washington Sundar in the 49th over and India-A suffered the fifth blow at a score of 169. After this, the team’s batting order completely collapsed.

Shivam Dubey scored 20 runs in 42 balls, while Tanush Kotian scored 32 runs in 71 balls. For India-A, Mukesh Kumar and Navdeep Saini took 3-3 wickets each. Sai Kishore took two wickets, while Yash Dayal and Washington Sundar took 1-1 wickets each.

IND-A vs IND-B: India-B lost 3 wickets on the score of 22 in the second innings

In the second innings of the game, the top-order batsmen of India-B did not have a good start. The team lost 3 big wickets at a score of just 22. Khalil Ahmed gave India-A its first success by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal (9) in the fifth over. After this, Akash Deep sent Mushir Khan, who scored a century in the first innings, to the pavilion on a duck. Akash Deep also took on the opposing captain Abhimanyu Easwaran (4) in the 8th over.

Half century partnership between Sarfaraz Khan and Pant

Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant shared a 72-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Sarfaraz Khan was dismissed by Avesh Khan after scoring 46 runs in 36 balls with the help of 7 fours and a six. Rishabh Pant was seen batting well but lost his wicket against Tanush Kotian.

Rishabh scored 61 runs in 47 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes, he completed his half-century in 34 balls. Nitish Kumar Reddy could not do anything special in the second innings as well, he was out against Khalil Ahmed on 19 runs.

By the end of the day, India-A bowlers Khalil Ahmed and Akash Deep took 2 wickets each. Whereas, Avesh Khan and Tanush Kotian also took 1 wicket each.
