IND-A vs IND-D, Day 2 Highlights: India-A and India-D teams are facing each other in the second round match of Duleep Trophy 2024. By the end of the first day of the game, India-A had scored 288 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the first innings.

IND-A vs IND-D: Shams Mulani missed a century
Shams Mulani (88*) and Khalil Ahmed (15*) were unbeaten at the crease at the end of the first day of play. On the second day, Shams Mulani’s intention was to convert his innings into a century. However, he was not successful, losing his wicket against Harshit Rana in the 85th over of the innings. Shams Mulani played an innings of 89 runs in 187 balls with the help of 8 fours and 3 sixes.
Harshit then dismissed Aqib Khan on a golden duck in the same over and ended India-A’s innings at 290 runs. For India-D, Harshit Rana took 4 wickets for 51 runs in 17.3 overs. Vidwath Kaverappa and Arshdeep Singh took 2-2 wickets. Whereas, Saransh Jain and Saurabh Kumar took 1-1 wickets each.
India D’s first innings were restricted to 183 runs
India-D team was all out for 183 runs in the first innings. The team lost 5 wickets at a score of 96. Devdutt Padikkal handled the innings from one end and scored 92 runs in 124 balls with the help of 15 fours. Apart from Devdutt, Harshit Rana contributed by scoring 31 runs.
At the same time, batsmen like captain Shreyas Iyer (0) and Sanju Samson (5) disappointed the team a lot. For India-A, Khalil Ahmed and Aaqib Khan took the maximum of 3-3 wickets. At the same time, Prasidh Krishna, Tanush Kotian and Shams Mulani took 1-1 wickets.
Mayank Agarwal was out after scoring a half-century in the second innings
India-A team made a great start in the second innings. Pratham Singh and captain Mayank Agarwal shared a 115-run partnership for the first wicket. Mayank Agarwal scored 56 runs in 87 balls with the help of 8 fours. He was out in the 29th over against Shreyas Iyer.
