The Australian cricket team is currently on a tour of England, and the T20 series is going on between the two teams here. So after the end of the T20 series, a five-match ODI series will begin between England and Australia (ENG vs AUS).

The first match of the ODI series will be played on 19 September at Trent Bridge ground in Nottingham. So now the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the 15-member team today on 15 September for the ODI series against the Kangaroo team.

Also, let us tell you that for the first time the command of the team has been handed over to 25-year-old young all-rounder Harry Brook. It is worth noting that the regular captain of the team’s white ball format, Jos Buttler, has not yet fully recovered from his calf injury. Due to this, the command of the team has been handed over to young Brook.

It will be interesting to see how England will perform in the ODI series against Australia under Brook’s captaincy. Also, most of the English players have been included in this team who are part of the ongoing T20 series team. However, ECB has ignored experienced wicketkeeper batsman Jonny Bairstow for selection in this series.
