Some of them cannot afford that fee- Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar feels that the on-field war between Indian and English players is seen due to IPL fees. Sunil Gavaskar while talking on sports star said, ‘This is why when English and Indian players play against each other, they often get into verbal altercations. A lot of England players are not selected in the IPL because they can be withdrawn at any time by their board due to camp or something. Which leaves the franchise in limbo.

Sunil Gavaskar believes that some England players cannot afford the fees of Indian players. Due to which the joy of defeating England becomes even greater.

Sunil Gavaskar further said, ‘Some of them cannot afford the fees for which some Indian players are bought and compare their achievements at the international level.
