Even rain could not stop India from winning the T20 series, Suryakumar Yadav and company defeated Sri Lanka in the second match

In the second T20 match played today i.e. on 28th July, India defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets. All the players from India performed very well in this match and played an important role in their team’s victory. With this victory, India has won the three-match T20 series.

In this match, host Sri Lanka batted first and scored 161 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. India’s bowlers bowled very well in this match and constantly put pressure on the Sri Lankan batsmen.

Talking about the match, Sri Lanka did not have a good start and Kusal Mendis was out after scoring 10 runs. However, after losing the first wicket early, Kusal Perera and Pathum Nissanka shared a 54-run partnership for the second wicket. Pathum Nissanka scored 32 runs in the second T20 against India.

Kusal Perera batted very well against India and played a valuable innings of 53 runs in 34 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. Kamindu Mendis also batted very well and contributed 26 runs. Captain Charith Aslanka scored 14 runs.

For India, spinner Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets for 26 runs in four overs. Arshdeep Singh took two wickets for 24 runs in three overs while Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya also took two wickets each.

As soon as the Indian team came out to bat, it started raining. After rain for a long time, India was given a target of 78 runs in eight overs. India won the match within seven overs. India did not have a good start in this match and Sanju Samson was out on the first ball without opening the account. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a stormy innings of 30 runs against Sri Lanka while captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 26 runs. Hardik Pandya contributed 22* runs.
