Group stage matches will be played from June 1 to June 18. After which the Super-8 matches will be played from June 19 to June 24. After the Super-8 matches, semi-final matches will be played in Guyana and Trinidad on June 26 and June 27. After which the final will be played in Barbados on June 29.

Team India will start its campaign with a match against Ireland on June 5. The schedule has been revealed, but it is not clear who will captain India. Star Sports put the picture of Hardik Pandya as captain in the promotion poster, on which fans are expressing anger.

Star Sports has used pictures of Hardik Pandya and Shaheen Afridi for the India-Pakistan match. But Indian fans did not like this thing at all.
