A video is going viral on social media in which it can be seen that during a match, due to a mistake by a fielder, the batting team got a boundary. Actually, the Qualifier 2 match of Group F of European Cricket 2024 was played between Independents CC and Donaustadt at Cartama Oval, Spain.

In this match, Donaustadt batted first and scored 147 runs losing four wickets in 10 overs. In the first over of Independents CC’s innings to chase the target, the bowler bowled a wide ball to the batsman. The wicketkeeper could not catch the ball properly and the ball started going towards the boundary.

After this the fielders also started running to stop the ball. He first stopped the ball with his foot but in the process he collided with the advertisement board. The good thing was that he stopped the ball from crossing the boundary. However, as soon as the fielder came out of the boundary line to throw the ball back, the ball accidentally left his hand and went beyond the boundary.
