The England and Wales Cricket Board has informed about the death of the cricketer.
Graham Thorpe passes away at 55: Former middle order batsman of England cricket team Graham Thorpe has passed away at the age of 55. So the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has given this information through social media today on 5th August.
It is worth noting that Thorpe was one of the few legendary cricketers of England cricket who played 100 Test matches for the English team. He made his Test debut against Australia in Nottingham in 1993, while he played his last Test match against Bangladesh in 2005.

He has also coached the England cricket team in the past.

The cricket world is in mourning today. Our thoughts are with his wife Amanda, his children, father Geoff and his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. We will always remember Graham for his extraordinary contribution to the game.
