Former Indian cricket team opener and experienced cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is going to be seen playing in the upcoming season of Nepal Premier League (NPL). He is going to be seen playing for Karnali Yaks in the tournament. This is the fourth foreign signing of the team.

Before this, the team has included Chadwick Walton of West Indies, Hussain Talat of Pakistan and Babar Hayat of Hong Kong. So now with the addition of an experienced player like Dhawan to the team, the franchise looks even stronger.

On the other hand, Dhawan’s inclusion in the tournament will not only add strength to the franchise but also add ample value to the NPL, which is all set to start its inaugural edition with a bang. International superstars like Martin Guptill, James Neesham and Ben Cutting have already registered for various franchises in the tournament.

Also, he has scored a total of 6768 runs in 222 matches played in IPL at an average of 35.07.
