Maroof has said goodbye to 17 years long cricket career
Former captain of Pakistan women’s cricket team, Bismah Maroof has suddenly announced her retirement from international cricket. Some time ago he had decided to step down from the captaincy of the team and now Maroof has said goodbye to his 17-year long cricket career.
He has given information about his retirement through social media post. Bismah Maroof made an emotional post and wrote, for 17 years cricket has been not just a game but a passion. A dream came true and it was a journey of unlimited growth. With emotions I say goodbye to the journey of representing Pakistan at the international level.
In the post, he further thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board, captain, coach, fellow players, support staff, friends and family members for supporting him in this journey. Bismah Maroof also thanked his fans.

Made debut for Pakistan in 2006
