India has set a target of 197 runs for Bangladesh to win.
The 47th match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 is being played today on 22 June between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl, while the Indian team, batting first, scored 196 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
However, all-rounder Shivam Dubey, who has been disappointing in batting so far, made a comeback and scored 34 runs in 24 balls. Apart from this, in the end, vice-captain Hardik Pandya batted in a great style and scored a half-century in 27 balls, which has been highly appreciated by the fans through social media.
Pandya hit 4 fours and 3 excellent sixes during his innings. It is worth noting that after Pandya was made the captain of Mumbai Indians during IPL 2024, he had to face a lot of trolling by the fans. However, now the same fans are seen supporting Pandya in the T20 World Cup.
