Sanju scored 109* runs in 56 balls and Tilak Verma played an unbeaten inning of 120* runs in 47 balls. This is the highest partnership by India for any wicket in T20 International. Also, this is the third highest partnership made for any wicket by a full members team in T20 International. Talking about the partnership with Tilak Verma, Sanju said, I have had many partnerships with him, he is a very young player and he is the future of Indian cricket and it is great to partner with him. I don’t like to talk too much, the last time I talked too much I was out for zero twice, I want to keep it simple and focus on what I can do.
