Akashdeep, the young fast bowler of the Indian cricket team, has recently been seen praising experienced bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Regarding Bumrah, Akashdeep believes that God has made him differently.

It is worth noting that Bumrah has performed brilliantly in international cricket after returning to cricket after a back injury in August 2023. Recently in the Chennai Test match, he took five wickets in both the innings and also touched the mark of 400 wickets in his international cricket career.

So now in the Indian team, Akashdeep opened up about his learnings from Bumrah and mentioned how the Indian fast bowler helped him in building the mindset while bowling to a particular batsman.

Akashdeep gave a big statement

Let us tell you that recently in an interview given to Times of India, Akashdeep said- I talk to him regularly and watch his bowling. He is completely different, God has made him different. I take a lot of cricket tips from him and have learned a lot.

I discussed ‘mindset’ while bowling with him and once asked him about the mindset while bowling to a particular batsman. He gave very good suggestions and ideas, answered all my questions.

He is very knowledgeable and experienced and it reflects in his bowling. His ability to understand the batsman before bowling is amazing. He is a talented bowler and it is not easy to follow in his footsteps.

On the other hand, if we talk about Akashdeep and Jaspreet Bumrah, both of them were recently seen playing in the first test match played against Bangladesh in Chennai. So now both of them can be seen playing together in the test match to be held in Kanpur from 27 September.
