Currently, the third and final match of the three-match T20 series is being played between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. In this match, Sri Lanka’s young fast bowler Nuwan Thusara bowled brilliantly and completed a hat-trick.

Nuwan Thusara completed his hat-trick by taking three wickets in three consecutive balls in the third T20 being played against Bangladesh. He took the wickets of captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto, Towhid Hridoy and Mahmudullah. Let us tell you, Nuwan Thusara is the fifth bowler of Sri Lanka who has taken a hat-trick in T20 cricket. Earlier this feat has been done by Lasith Malinga, Akila Dhananjay, Thisara Perera and Wanindu Hasaranga.

Nuwan Thusara is also known as Junior Malinga as his bowling action is similar to that of former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga. Nuwan Thusara’s performance has been quite good in the Franchise League tournament and this young fast bowler has left his mark in the T20 format.

The best part is that Nuwan Thusara will also be seen playing in the Indian Premier League 2024. Nuwan Thusara has been included in their team by Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2024. Mumbai Indians bought the young fast bowler for Rs 4.80 crore.

The three-match T20 series is tied at 1-1.

If we talk about the T20 series being played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, this series is currently tied at 1-1. The first match was won by Sri Lanka by three runs while the second was won by Bangladesh. In the third T20 currently being played, Sri Lanka, batting first, has scored 174 runs after losing 7 wickets.
