These 6 states are- Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim. With this, all the cricketers will be able to enjoy world class indoor nets, indoor swimming pool and fitness center. We all are very happy with this wonderful initiative of BCCI.
We want that great players from North East should participate here and this will give more recognition to cricket. We are starting this with the launch of the new pavilion in Mizoram.

There are many players in India who have performed well so far and have left their mark at the international level as well. Let us tell you that earlier, cricketers from these states had to travel to centers in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai or Ahmedabad for training during the monsoon season. BCCI has also constituted the North-East Cricket Development Committee. It is being presided over by Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President Abhishek Dalmiya.
Meanwhile, the BCCI is already in the process of developing a new National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru with expanded fields and facilities. All the cricketers of North East will be very happy that now they too will be able to enjoy world class things at their home.
