Meanwhile, in the match, GT captain Shubhman Gill made a big mistake, due to which he was fined Rs 12 lakh. He was found guilty for slow over rate against CSK. This is the first time he has made this mistake this season and because of this he will have to pay a fine of Rs 12 lakh.

In the official media release issued by the IPL, it has been said that Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has been fined for maintaining a slow over rate during the IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings on March 26 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Later fine has been imposed. Since this is his team’s first offense of the season under the IPL code of conduct related to slow over rate, he will be fined Rs 12 lakh.

Shubman Gill may be fined

This was the second match of Gujarat Titans and in the very second match, Gill was found guilty for slow over rate. If they are found guilty for the second time, they will be fined Rs 30 lakh. All the other players of the team will be fined Rs 6 lakh each or 25 percent of the match fee.

But if for the third time this season Shubhman Gill If such a mistake is made, he will be fined Rs 30 lakh and banned for one league match. The remaining players will be fined Rs 12 lakh each or 50 percent of the match fee. In such a situation, Shubman Gill will try to ensure that he does not make this mistake in the coming matches.
