KKR all-rounder Andre Russell has been performing better with the ball than with the bat this season. Meanwhile, spin wizard Rashid Khan has not lived up to expectations so far this season. Neither of them have lived up to their team’s expectations, but both can prove to be match winners for their respective teams on their day.

To accelerate the scoring rate, Russell will come in the middle order of the innings. Russell will aim to hit sky-high sixes and Rashid will want to beat him in the spin attack. Let us tell you that Rashid has dismissed Russell thrice in IPL giving just 24 runs in 22 balls.

Known for his power-hitting, Salt can take away from his opponents in the powerplay. For GT to stay in the match, they need to eliminate Salt quickly.

For GT, Umesh Yadav will work with the new ball and the experienced fast bowler will have to shoulder the responsibility of giving a strong start to the team. The right-arm fast bowler would like to provide early success to GT by dismissing Salt in the powerplay.

1. Sai Sudharsan vs Varun Chakravarthy

Sai Sudarshan and Varun Chakravarthy are currently the match winners for their respective teams. The left-handed batsman has so far scored more than 500 runs at an average of 47.91. Chakraborty, on the other hand, has taken 18 wickets in 12 matches and is a strong contender for the Purple Cap.

Sudarshan opened the innings in the last match and scored his first IPL century. He has been in tremendous form and KKR will rely on their spin attack to stay in the match. Chakraborty can also work in the powerplay and would like to get the youngster out early.
