Recently Danish Kaneria said that Rinku should have been a part of the team. He believes that Hardik Pandya of Mumbai Indians (MI) should have been out and that is because his form in the current IPL is very poor.

Kaneria told in an interview with Sports Now, if I look at the current IPL performance, Hardik Pandya should have been out. He has not shown consistency. As far as Rinku is concerned, I also think that she should have been a part of India’s T20 World Cup team.

He further said that you already have Shivam Dubey, who is performing well for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Overall the team is looking good, but Dubey and Rinku would have been a powerful combination for India in the lower order.

Both Hardik and Rinku have flopped in IPL 2024.

Talking about Hardik Pandya’s recent IPL performance, it has not been that good. He has scored only 198 runs in 11 matches at an average of 19.80. Apart from this, he could take only 8 wickets in bowling. On the other hand, if we talk about the performance of Rinku Singh, he has scored only 132 runs in 10 matches in IPL 2024.
