Actually, Haris Rauf had withdrawn his name from the three-match Test series against Australia in December-January to play in the Big Bash League 2023-24.

Pakistan Cricket Board did not like this at all and they terminated the central contract of Haris Rauf. However, according to recent reports, Haris Rauf’s central contract may be reinstated as the experienced fast bowler had appealed against the decision of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to the report, the legal team of Pakistan Cricket Board will review the appeal of Haris Rauf and it is expected that he will be included in the central contract again. Let us tell you, after the hearing process by the Pakistan Cricket Board Committee, the contract of Haris Rauf was terminated from December 1, 2023.

According to Hindustan Times, a PCB source said, ‘There is a possibility that Haris Rauf’s appeal may be accepted and his contract may be reinstated.’
