India’s batsmen Harmanpreet Kaur and Shafali Verma have gained in the ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings after the latest ranking update released on Tuesday. Sri Lankan spinner Inoshi Priyadarshini also managed to improve her ranking.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and opener Shafali Verma are now jointly placed 11th in the T20 rankings after their performance in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup being played in Sri Lanka. Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten five against Pakistan and 66 against the UAE to gain one spot, while Shafali Verma scored 40 against Pakistan and 37 against the UAE to gain four spots.
She was earlier at 15th position and has now reached 11th position. Talking about Sri Lankan off-spinner Priyadarshini, she has gained three places. She took 2 wickets against Bangladesh and one against Malaysia. She has moved from seventh to fourth position. Among other batsmen, Richa Ghosh is named, who scored the first T20I half-century of her career against UAE.
Due to this innings, she has gained four places. She has moved from 28th to 24th position. Bangladesh’s Murshida Khatun, who was outside the top 50, has reached 47th position. Currently, Australia’s Beth Mooney is at the top in the batting rankings. England’s Sophie Ecclestone is at the top in bowling. Meanwhile, West Indies’ Hayley Matthews is at number one in the all-rounders rankings. Deepti Sharma is at the third position among all-rounders. No other Indian is in the top 10.
