Former Indian player Dinesh Karthik has recently made a big statement and called Washington Sundar the replacement of Ravichandran Ashwin. Sundar should get his due – Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik while talking on Cricbuzz said,

India are definitely looking for the next generation of off-spinners as in the last India-A series against England Lions, they played three off-spinners in three matches – Pulkit Narang, Washington Sundar and Saransh Jain. They are trying and Washington Sundar is the frontrunner right now after Ravichandran Ashwin. He has done well in whatever limited chances he has got and I think he should get his due before going to anyone else.

Ashwin has taken 516 wickets in Tests so far

Ravichandran Ashwin has taken 516 wickets in 100 Test matches so far. He is the highest wicket-taker in the Test format after Anil Kumble (619). Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket.
