Jonty Rhodes, while speaking on India Today, said,

I think if you look at the record as a captain of a new franchise, reaching the playoffs every time, as he has done. That is something that means a lot to his captaincy. The way he leads the team and the kind of setup and his approach is fantastic.

Speaking further, Jonty Rhodes said,

Look at Rohit and Dhoni’s record as captains, the trophies they have won and the consistency they have shown to win trophies. From LSG’s point of view, reaching the final, winning the trophy, it can be just one thing.

Mumbai Indians are one of the most successful IPL franchises with five titles, but the team had to struggle for many years to win the first title. The franchise won the first title in 2013. Jonty Rhodes believes that Lucknow Super Giants are also struggling just like Mumbai right now.
