India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah achieved an important milestone by taking his 400th international wicket during the first Test against Bangladesh at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday. In his career, Bumrah has played 196 international matches, taking 401 wickets at an average of 21.01. He has taken 163 wickets in 37 Tests, 149 wickets in 89 ODIs and 89 wickets in 70 T20Is. At the age of 30, Bumrah is one of the greatest bowlers of India, along with legends like Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh.
He has always performed well for Indian cricket with consistency. This is why he is counted among the greatest bowlers in the world today.
