R Ashwin has great skills – Owais Shah

While talking about Ravichandran Ashwin (R Ashwin) on Colors Cineplex, Owais Shah said, ‘He has excellent skills, he has a different kind of control over line and length. He is a player who is never happy with his performance. He always thinks that he might have had a good day but how can he improve going forward.

‘That’s why he has developed many different balls in his career, be it the carrom ball or using the crease. I have also seen him bowling leg spin. He has developed his bowling all the time.

Auwais Shah says that due to continuous improvement in himself, Ravichandran Ashwin has been able to reach 100 Test matches today. Shah further said, ‘He was also saying in the interview that if you remain steady then the batsmen will be able to control you. So he always wants to develop himself and this is the beauty behind his reaching 100 Test matches.
