The second Test match between India and England will be played in Visakhapatnam from 2 February. Earlier, Team India wicketkeeper KS Bharat was honored by Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) on Thursday, February 1 at the YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. With this, he has become the second cricketer from the state to play a Test match on home ground.

Let us tell you that Sreekar Bharat was born in Visakhapatnam and at the age of 11, he started training with the Andhra domestic team. Apart from this, in 2005, he was one of the ball boys during the ODI match between India and Pakistan at the YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.

“Yes, we have planned a felicitation ceremony for Bharat,” ACA secretary Gopinath Reddy told CricketNext.com. It will take place right here in the stadium, on the upper floor of the South Stand. We had asked for time for 2nd February from the Indian team management, but got time for 1st February. So we will honor him on Thursday.

Let us tell you that only three players from Andhra have been able to represent India in Tests regarding KS Bharat. Two other names are of MSK Prasad and Hanuma Vihari.
