Recently, ICC T20 World Cup 2024 winning Indian team’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj was honored by the Telangana government by giving him a piece of land and a government job in Group-1 of the government.

So now, MP and leader of opposition of Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Kaushik Reddy has raised this issue in Telangana assembly that the government has done a good job by honoring Siraj, but the government should also give all these things to Pragyan Ojha, Ambati Rayudu and Jwala Gutta who played an important role in raising the name of the state.

It is worth noting that before entering active politics, Kaushik Reddy has played first class cricket for Andhra Pradesh. Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has reacted to Reddy’s demand. Rayudu says that the government should help those players who need it.

Let us tell you that while replying to a video of Kaushik Reddy demanding players from the Telangana government, Rayudu wrote through his official X account – Kaushik Reddy Garu, I understand that promoting players is very important. I am very happy that Siraj has been recognized for his efforts towards Indian cricket.

I never asked or expected anything. It is very important to support all sports and sportspersons equally and mainly those who need support to improve and develop their skills to become better.

As cricketers we have been very fortunate in terms of being financially able. I respectfully decline your request to the government to allot me land and please ask them to support the players who really need it.
