Bumrah has now become the second bowler to take the most wickets in T20I for India.
Young fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is currently one of the strengths of Team India in most formats of the game. So after the recent third T20 match played against South Africa in Centurion, he has now become the highest wicket taker for India in T20I.
Arshdeep has left behind senior Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The player currently has 92 T20 wickets in his name, and he is just a few away from overtaking Yuzvendra Chahal who is at number one with 96 wickets.
On the other hand, before the third T20 match against South Africa, he has given a big statement about his bowling partnership with Jasprit Bumrah in Team India. Arshdeep says that Bumrah has helped him a lot in this format.
Arshdeep Singh gave a big statement
Let us tell you that while talking to the official broadcasters before the third T20 match between South Africa vs India, Arshdeep said – I have said this earlier also that I have got a very good bowling partner in Jasprit Bhai.
He has helped me a lot in taking wickets by creating pressure from the other end. Credit goes to them and the main thing is how well I am able to adapt to the conditions and match situation, which is important.
Arshdeep further said- I try to attack the batsmen in the beginning and in the end, I try to beat the batsmen and bring the game back towards me. I just try to enjoy the moment and have fun on and off the field.
This has been my mantra. Playing with some of the greats of the game and learning about mental and physical preparation from them, is how I feel I have developed my game. I am trying to learn from wherever possible and perform well for the team.
