But Mayank Yadav, due to his brilliant bowling, made a comeback for Lucknow in this match and made an important contribution to his team’s victory by taking three wickets.

Morne Morkel was quoted by News 18 as saying, “Young Mayank bowled brilliantly and took wickets. Last year it was difficult because he got injured after the first practice match. We are managing it well.”
He further said, “We asked the player to bowl with his basics on a good wicket. Told him to stick to his length and use the bouncer. Proud that he came and bowled good balls despite the heat and humidity. No one knew how the wicket would play, we had to adapt to the conditions and use them.”
