Australia cricket team opener Travis Head has made a big statement about the Indian cricket team amid the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. Head feels that the final of the T20 World Cup can be between India and Australia, and in this match India would like to take revenge from Australia.

It is worth noting that India made it to the finals of the World Test Championship (WTC) and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. However, India had to face defeat against Australia in these two big final matches. Also, Travis Head played an important role on both these occasions. Head scored 163 runs in the WTC final and 137 runs in the World Cup final.

Let us tell you that during the ongoing T20 World Cup, Travis Head said in an interview to the Times of India – The final of the T20 World Cup would be good. It would be good if the final is between India and Australia.

I think everyone in India would love it, especially considering what happened in the last two finals. So, I’m sure India would want some revenge at some point. We hope we play the final and see what happens.

Head further said about the Indian team- India is in good hands at the moment. I think you can name four or five teams which are in the mix to win the T20 World Cup. Playing aggressive cricket is important for them.

With Rohit and Virat, and their exceptional bowling led by star bowler Bumrah, who has also been excellent in the IPL, their chances are high. India’s chances of winning the T20 World Cup are also similar to those of the four other teams.
