India will face Australia in a five-match Test series, with the first match starting on November 22 in Perth. Meanwhile, if some media reports are to be believed, Rohit may not be available for the first or second test due to personal reasons. In a video shared on his YouTube channel ‘Aakash Chopra’, the former India opener confirmed the unofficial news.

Aakash Chopra said in his video, “This will affect our emotions a bit. There is news about Rohit Sharma. It doesn’t come from official sources but I can confirm that the news is there. The news is that he may miss a match. This could be the first test or it could also be the second test. Since it is due to personal reasons, it is also being said that he may be available for the entire series.”

Let us tell you that in the last Australia series, players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli did not play some matches and Chopra has given his side on this issue. He said that Rohit’s possible absence for the Test this time would be a big blow for India.

The former batsman further said, “He was injured last time and came straight to play the Sydney Test. He was not available in Adelaide and did not play the Melbourne Test. Virat Kohli played the pink-ball Test and was unavailable for the next three Test matches. Here too, Rohit Sharma will not be available for one of the first two Tests and Rohit’s absence will be a big blow to the team.
