South African veteran spinner Dane Piedt believes that he does not care what people are saying about him. Dane Piedt recently revealed that ever since he has stopped responding to trolls on social media, it has helped him a lot and he is living a very good life.

Let us tell you, Dane Piedt made his Test debut in 2014. He played in the Test series against New Zealand in the same year in which South Africa lost 2-0. He took 5 wickets in the first innings of the second Test played in Hamilton while he took three wickets in the second innings, however despite this South Africa had to face defeat.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, Dan Pete said, ‘I don’t care what people are saying about me. Staying away from social media has proved to be very helpful for me. As a young player, when people talk about you or your bowling, you also feel it is right to respond to them, but I don’t care about it anymore.’

Dan Pete said about his family, ‘Having a young family gives a new direction to your life and I want to show my young children that their father has achieved a lot in life. Now I don’t care about what people say. I am enjoying the phase of my life very well. It feels good that I am getting peace in life now.’

Let us tell you, Dane Piedt was a part of Washington Freedom in the last season of Major League Cricket but he is not playing this season. The performance of this brilliant spinner has always been very good in international cricket. Very soon Dane Piedt can be seen playing again in an international test match for South Africa.
