Virat Kohli is considered one of the greatest batsmen in the world. He has made many records in his name in his cricketing career. There are some records in his name which will probably be impossible for any future player to break. But have you thought that if Virat Kohli was not a cricketer today, what would he have been and what would he be doing today.
The same question was recently asked to Virat Kohli during an interview. During an event, Kohli was asked, ‘If you were not a cricketer, what would have been your alternative career?’ To this the former Indian captain replied clearly and humorously.
Responding to this, Kohli said, “I don’t know, maybe business. To be honest, I never thought. I didn’t know how to run a business at all, but now I know a little. If I had done business without cricket, people would have fooled me 200%. Now I know how to do business a little, with a lot of pressure and deception. Business without cricket, 200% everyone would have fooled me, now, after facing many betrayals and difficulties, I am slowly learning.”
Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma, has ventured into several other businesses including investing in brands like Rage Coffee, fitness center Chisel, menswear brand WROGN and Blue Tribe. He has also invested in a few restaurants, one of which is One8 Commune.
Star batsmen are performing brilliantly in the ongoing IPL 2024. 35-year-old Virat has scored 542 runs in 11 innings and is the highest run-scorer of the season. However, despite scoring so many runs, Virat has recently been in the headlines due to his slow strike rate.
