During the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, USA team’s all-rounder Harmeet Singh has made a big statement about Indian cricket team captain and famous player Rohit Sharma, known as Hitman. Harmeet has said that he has grown up watching the Indian player.

It is worth noting that Rohit Sharma and Harmeet studied in the same school and both of them played cricket together for Mumbai. Harmeet has said in a recent interview that he also studied in the same school from which Rohit Sharma graduated.

Harmeet Singh gave a big statement about Rohit Sharma

Let us tell you that in a recent interview to Star Sports, Harmeet said- I used to look up to Rohit Sharma while growing up. When I took admission in school, he (Rohit) had just graduated. I made my debut in first class cricket with him and he played the Under-19 World Cup before me. Coming from Mumbai, it is really exciting to see him winning the world.

Harmeet Singh further said- Cricket in Mumbai was beyond the schools and cricketers of Bandra, but Rohit started it in the suburbs, and from there we all followed it. Apart from Rohit, I have played cricket for the Under-19 Indian team, which includes Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Singh and Axar Patel. Axar and I come from the same place. So, it will be fun to play against them.
