On the other hand, after the eliminator match, Avesh Khan has given a big statement regarding his death overs bowling. Avesh, who has taken 16 wickets in IPL 2024, says that he has got good results from this bowling.
Avesh Khan gave a big statement
Let us tell you that after the eliminator match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Avesh Khan said during the post-match – I always give my 100% in the match, remain relaxed, and throw the same ball on top of my target which I have thought about.
In the death overs, I always try to bowl wide yorkers/yorkers or slow bouncers. I have got good results with these balls and I don’t make many changes in my bowling.
Avesh further said- Last year when I played for Lucknow, I had joined the team after playing 10 Ranji Trophy matches. I had bowled 320 overs at that time and my body was not cooperating properly. Mental and physical fatigue must have been clearly visible.
I tried last season as well but the results were not there. As a bowler you know. IPL does not demand a lot of effort, it is just a contest of your four overs and the team’s 20 overs.
