England cricket team’s fast bowler Jofra Archer has recently given a big statement saying that he wants to play cricket for a year without any injury. Archer has also said that he is afraid that he might get injured once again, due to which he will have to start and stop the game again.

Let us tell you that the Cricket World Cup 2029 champion player has not played any competitive cricket for England since March 2023. Also, due to injury, he remained out of most of the series between 2021 and 2023.

He was also a part of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023, but due to an elbow injury he had to return to the UK. Also, regarding the continuous injuries he is getting, Archer has said that because of this he has not received anything for the last one year.

Let us tell you that while giving a big statement on The Athlete’s Voice 4CAST regarding not being able to play cricket due to injury, he said – Last year I played cricket from May to January, because I also participated in the IPL.

After this, the next year I played one or two matches for Sussex, so I have not got anything for a whole year. Hopefully, when June 1st comes and June 1st of next year comes, I will not have to take any kind of break from cricket. Minimal injuries and just playing cricket consistently.

Archer further said- It has been a long time since I played cricket and to be honest, I don’t know how this year is going to be for me. Whether it’s going to be an on and off year, I don’t know what’s true. Don’t know what the future will be like.
