MS Dhoni further talked about the challenges of playing professional cricket. He told how he keeps himself fit to play in the IPL despite being away from the game for the whole year.

In childhood, we used to go out and play at 4 pm and enjoy the game. But when you play professional sport, it becomes difficult to enjoy cricket, just like the game itself. This is what I want to do. It is not easy. Feelings keep coming, commitments are made. I want to enjoy the game for the next few years. I have to keep myself fit for nine months so that I can play two and a half months of IPL. I have kept it very simple. I’ll train for 15, 20, 25 days, then take a break for 15-20 days, so it really helps me stay on track.
