Speaking to The New Indian Express, Sai Kishore said, “I feel very confident because I have never trained like this before. Maybe I would have trained like this before coming to the IPL. Waking up at 4 am, training and then bowling. I have not put in so many hours in the last four-five years as I have put in this pre-season. During the IPL, you don’t get time, you focus on recovery. After the TNPL, I got a 15-20 day break and I used it in the best way.”
R Sai Kishore will be seen captaining the TNCA XI in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament. He is going to play with players like Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and Rahul Chahar in the Duleep Trophy. Sai Kishore, who has played three T20 Internationals, said, “I think I am one of the best spinners in the country. Put me in a Test match, I am ready.
So, I am not too worried. Jadeja is there, I have never played with him. I have been with him at CSK but never played with him in the red ball format. It will be a good learning experience in terms of what he does. In saying that, I feel confident. So, I am more prepared than ever.”
