The 39th match of IPL 2024 was played on 23 April between Lucknow Super Giants R Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium. Lucknow won the toss in this match and decided to bowl first. Chennai Super Kings scored 210 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs on the basis of captain Ruturaj Gaikwad’s (108*) century innings. After this, LSG achieved the big target of 211 runs given by CSK by losing 4 wickets in 19.3 overs. Marcus Stoinis played a brilliant inning of 124* runs for LSG, and contributed significantly to his team’s victory.

KL Rahul made a brilliant dive and completed this catch with one hand. Matt Henry brought the first over of the Chennai Super Kings innings.
