The first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played from August 21.
The first match of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start tomorrow on 21 August. Pakistan team’s fast bowler Naseem Shah will be seen playing Test cricket after a long time. Naseem Shah has now also been included in the playing eleven. Naseem Shah played his last Test for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in July last year. In such a situation, after a long gap of one year, he will be seen playing in the white jersey.
Meanwhile, before the start of the first Test match against Bangladesh, Naseem Shah has made some shocking statements. The fast bowler said that sometimes he feels like he is playing two matches simultaneously. Apart from this, Naseem Shah said that, Whenever he is about to play a big match, he calls his brothers to make sure that their father does not watch it.
It feels like I am playing two matches simultaneously- Naseem Shah
Naseem Shah said in an interview to Cricbuzz, “There is a lot going on behind the scenes in the life of a cricketer, which people are not aware of.” He further said, “Many times, you just look for small moments of happiness. My father is going through some health problems.
There was a time when he didn’t know anything about cricket, but now he watches every ball and gets sad when we lose. So, before every big match, I call my brothers and make sure that our father doesn’t watch the match. I fear this could lead to some major health complications. This pressure is like I am playing two matches simultaneously.”
Naseem Shah made his Test debut at the age of 16. In 2019, he played a Test match against Australia at Gabba. He is still 21 years old. So far he has played 17 Test matches for Pakistan. Apart from this, in the limited overs format, he has played 14 ODIs and 28 T20 matches for Pakistan.
